Two French friends, aged 27 and 26, are looking for a boat to start a long trip in January 2027. They are passionate about the ocean and spend most of their free time surfing, fishing, diving and sailing. They are taking a break from work and dream of opening their adventure with an Atlantic crossing. Their ideal route runs from the Canary Islands, Cape Verde or Senegal to Brazil or the Caribbean, but they are open to other options and very flexible on dates. They have just returned from 10 days of sailing between Italy and Corsica with a skipper met online. They helped with manoeuvres, cooking, cleaning and daily life on board, even cooking in rough seas without seasickness. That skipper is willing to give a reference. One of them has sailed for two weeks in the Mediterranean, holds a boating licence and is a certified scuba diver. The other grew up between French Guiana, Mauritania and Algeria and is used to adapting to new places and people. Both are beginners and aware that an Atlantic crossing is a big step up from the Mediterranean. They are keen to learn, take watches, help with manoeuvres and get involved in all aspects of life on board. They are looking for novice crew positions and are also open to volunteering. They can help with cooking, cleaning, video creation and editing, tutoring or childcare. They are easygoing, reliable and enthusiastic, and happy to share expenses. They speak French, English and Spanish and hold EU citizenship.
