• Account: email, username, photo, bio, position (crew or skipper), sign-in method.
• What you publish: ads, boats and their photos, messages, favorites.
• Contact form and donations: name, email, message.
• Payments (donations, boosts): amount, name, email, country, card brand and last 4 digits. The full card number is entered at Stripe and never goes through our servers.
• Activity log: pages visited, actions on the site, IP address, browser, device, country, for security, abuse prevention and statistics.

• To run the service (account, ads, messaging, payments): performance of the contract.
• Security, abuse prevention and usage statistics: legitimate interest.
• Automatic translation of ads and understanding free-text searches: legitimate interest.
• Keeping payment records: legal obligation (accounting).

Your data is never sold. It is entrusted to service providers, only for what they need:

• Google (Firebase): sign-in, database, photo storage.
• Vercel: hosting and audience statistics (without cookies).
• Stripe: payments.
• Anthropic: automatic translation of ads and articles, understanding searches.

Some of these providers are located outside the European Union (United States): transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

• Account and published content: as long as the account exists; deleted with the account.

• Payments: 10 years (accounting obligation).

The site only uses cookies needed for it to work: your sign-in session and, if you start an ad without an account, the identifier of your draft. Your preferences (theme) are kept in your browser. No advertising or audience measurement cookies: no consent is therefore asked.

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, or get a copy of it: write to [TO FILL IN: contact email address] or from the Contact page. You can edit your profile at any time in the settings.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
