She is a 23-year-old Hungarian engineering graduate on a gap year, looking to join a crew for an Atlantic crossing. She is available at any time from late November. Afterwards she would also be interested in some coastal cruising in the Caribbean or the Americas, with the longer-term aim of exploring and hiking in South America. She has about 900 NM of coastal sailing experience in northern Spain and Portugal, gained as a deckhand on a Friendship 35 with a crew of four. She learned a lot there about sailing, navigation and life at sea, and also sailed a little as a child. She is outdoorsy and loves exploring: hiking, camping, bikepacking, surfing, swimming and snorkeling. Having travelled, volunteered, worked and studied in several countries, she is easy-going, flexible, comfortable with simple living and used to shared, multicultural environments. She speaks English and Hungarian fluently and has conversational Spanish. She is looking for voluntary, recreational crew work as a competent crew member, and wants to enjoy life at sea and make the crossing with a good crew.
