Klas, a 51-year-old Swede based near Stockholm, is looking for a boat to join for an Atlantic crossing as part of the ARC 2026. He describes himself as positive, hard-working and reliable, and says he is ready to get stuck in with whatever needs doing on board. He is also happy to share the costs. He has sailed for many years and has owned and sailed a 31-foot boat for 15 years. He holds a Yachtmaster qualification and is comfortable with responsibility and the practical side of life aboard. He has about 5000 coastal miles but no ocean miles yet, and has experience as a coastal skipper. He is a non-smoker, has no dietary restrictions and is married with teenage children, who will look after things at home while he is away.
