A young French sailor, 18, is looking for a crew to join for a transatlantic crossing. He describes himself as an experienced crew member who is fit, resilient, easy-going and keen on cooking. He has around 850 nautical miles of coastal and offshore cruising in the Celtic Sea, the English Channel, Brittany, Normandy and the Mediterranean, plus more than 400 hours of dinghy sailing. He is fully self-sufficient in navigation and has experience with instruments, night watches and heavy weather. He also holds a first aid certificate. He is adaptable, a passionate musician and happy to talk about any subject. He is in excellent shape and would gladly volunteer for repairs, even in hard-to-reach places. He is available from 15 November 2026, is based in Switzerland and speaks French, German, Swiss-German and English, with basic Italian. He is a non-smoker, needs no visa and is looking for a recreational arrangement as competent crew, with a preference for the North Atlantic.
